Haworth Tompkins are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Experienced Housing Project Architect
We are looking for an experienced housing project architect to work on medium to large scale housing and regeneration projects. To be considered for this role applicants should have the following:

- Experience working on UK-based housing projects at concept, planning stage, technical design, tender or construction stages.
- Confidence leading meetings with clients, design team members and contractors.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Familiarity with UK housing design standards.
- Strong design, detailing and communication skills.
- Minimum five years experience in a project architect role.

Part 1 Architectural Assistants
We are currently recruiting Part 1 architectural assistants to work on a range of projects across our studio. To be considered for this role applicants should have the following:

- Undergraduate degree in architecture or a similar degree in a related design/ engineering discipline.
- Strong design, detailing and communication skills.
- Confident hand-drawing and modelmaking skills.
- Experience using a range of graphic software, especially Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Sketchup. Knowledge of other 3D modelling and rendering programmes is advantageous, but not essential.
- Awareness and appreciation of design and urban issues and the ability to discuss these and share your opinions.
- The ability to work as part of a team and take the initiative when required.

We aim to give Part 1 Architectural Assistants a wide range of experience, supported by our in-house mentoring system which pairs Part 1s with a more experienced mentor. We work as a collaborative and proactive studio where communication and knowledge sharing is encouraged. Project work is supported by a programme of lunchtime talks, construction site visits and office trips.

Additional information
We use Bentley Microstation and Revit CAD packages to develop our projects. Experience using this software is advantageous, but training can also be provided.
