Jamila joined the practice in 2024 as a Level 6 Apprentice Architectural Assistant, focusing on residential projects, particularly social housing. Before this, she gained hands-on experience in the built environment through an architecture traineeship Build The Way. Alongside her apprenticeship at Haworth Tompkins, she studies for a BA in Architecture at London South Bank University.
Outside of work and study, Jamila shares her knowledge with younger students curious about architecture, has been a guest speaker at the RIBA and London School of Architecture, and has collaborated with local practices on placemaking and design, including creating an installation.
