Laura joined Haworth Tompkins in 2021. She has been actively involved in a number of the studio's libraries, archives and education projects. Prior to joining Haworth Tompkins, Laura worked on projects in higher education at Bennetts Associates Architects and on domestic and listed buildings at Paterson Architects. Laura studied Architecture at The University of Edinburgh, where she was president of the Student Architecture Society. On graduating she was awarded the Martin Hackett Prize for ‘Contribution to the Life and Soul of the School’. Parallel to professional practice, Laura co-founded Civic Soup CIC in 2016 and gathered experience of community-oriented design through commissions for the National Theatre of Scotland, The Scottish Civic Trust and Shetland Arts.
