Miruna joined Haworth Tompkins in 2023 and has been involved in several of the projects across the studio's cultural and performing arts projects. Prior to joining the practice, Miruna studied Architecture and Environmental Design at the University of Nottingham, where she received First Class Honours and was commended for the Community Award and shortlisted for the humanitarian Matt Carapiet Charitable Trust Award for her final year thesis project: A School for Two. Miruna is interested in exploring how architecture may shape new social settings in cities, particularly how architecture may increase communities’ equity, resilience, and creativity.
