Sam joined Haworth Tompkins in 2019 and has been actively involved in a number of the studio's residential and mixed use projects. He studied his Part I at the Welsh School of Architecture where he graduated with a first class degree and was recipient of the T Alwyn Lloyd Memorial Award for achieving one of the highest marks in his final year of study. Sam studied for his MArch at the London School of Architecture, whilst working part time at Haworth Tompkins. He graduated with a distinction in 2022 and his final year thesis project, which explored new forms of civic engagement to accelerate the retrofit of London’s existing homes, was nominated for the RIBA Silver Medal.
